Inspired by spice voyages. Explorers risked their lives to reach fairy tale islands in Southeast Asia where sweet & bold spices grew naturally. Take your tongue on a tour and taste our handcrafted blend of these 6 sweet spices.
What's so special? You'll know as soon as you see it in your mailbox, rip it open & let the aroma hit your nose.
Organic Indonesian Galangal & Vietnamese Sweet Cinnamon bring new depths to what you'd normally expect. Typical Pumpkin Spices only contain 2-4 ingredients: cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and sometimes allspice. We punched this blend up a few notches by choosing the boldest spices.
1 Tbsp Exotic Pumpkin Spices for every 4 cups of Wine (Try Merlot or Chardonnay).Add sweetener/sugar to your taste. Only need to simmer (not boil) for 10 mins. Remove from heat. Either let the spices settle to the bottom and ladle to serve. Or, pour through a sieve or tea strainer before serving. Garnish with orange slices.
2 Tbsp Butter + 1 Tbsp Exotic Pumpkin Spices Rubbed on a Brined 3-4 lb Bird. We're not kidding that this was the #1 best roasted chicken we & our friends have ever had. Everyone was amazed at how the spices complemented the richness of well roasted bird. The secret is to follow Daniel Boulud's initially intimidating prep. We got a chicken that was beyond moist - full-on juicy, with a perfectly crisp skin worthy of $75/plate.
Easy Alternative: just add 1 tsp Exotic Pumpkin Spices to your favorite chocolate cupcake batter. If you think beets have to taste like dirt, think again. We were skeptical, but we found a delectable way to gorge on your veggies. Recipe coming soon, but spoiler alert: we used aquafaba (canned bean liquid) to replace eggs.
